I'm baaackkk! Who missed me? lol
Happy Happy Father's Day, world! I would like to take this moment to acknowledge all the dad's out there - the fathers, the daddys, the dads, the papas, the pops, the babas and the dadas we thank you all. I honestly feel as though dads out there generally do not get enough credit for who they are and what they do. Now, I will acknowledge the fact that it may be as a result of the number of absentee dads in the world or the irresponsible men who tend to flee once they impregnate a young lady or just negative stereotypes surrounding males and father figures in general. Anyway, this post is to celebrate the men and dads that have "come through" and lived up to expectations.

To my dad, Kwame, I appreciate you. I thank you. I love you. I am grateful for you. He is one of the most sarcastic, funny, hardworking and humble people I know. Life with you obviously isn't perfect because what is? However, I thank God for blessing me with a father like you. You set the bar so high and your life story, literally rising from grass to grace is so inspirational. It reminds me that I can do and achieve anything, because you have literally been able to succeed with just a minute piece of the opportunities and financial support I have available to me now. You are the true definition of making the most out of what you have. You are one of my role models and will always be.
To all the super dads out there, thank you for all you do. Thank you for showing us that "trends" can be broken and that not every father is or has to be an absentee one. To the ones who yearn to be fathers, may God honour you. Thank you to the mothers who have assumed the roles of fathers- your hardwork doesn't go unnoticed. This, I believe will fuel your sons to lead good lives and become responsible and present fathers. To the individuals with absentee dads, love on your mum a little extra today; she needs it. I also pray that you find a place in your heart to forgive them. May the souls of departed fathers keep resting in the bosom of the Lord. Amen. Take heart, children, the Lord is the greatest and best Father we could ever have. Now, finally, to the families who are divided due to immigration or other issues beyond your control, I hope that you are able to communicate with your dad today and connect like never before.
Happy Father's Day once again! God bless you all and please stay safe.
Thank you for always supporting me, reading my posts and sharing them. I hit the 2 month mark on June 20 and I am super grateful for all my readers.
I recently created a YouTube channel as an extension of this platform.

Adwoa.
